1. Which expensive electronic device do you or your children most admire? As I said on ours, the family desktop. I'm still in the cringing phase but they're doing well.

2. Do you ever use your computer in the kitchen? Yes! All the time! When I pulled the laptop into the kitchen this past weekend to check a recipe, my dad laughed at me. Not really for the tech reasons but because he said, "You use recipes? I raised you better than that." Thanks, Dad. ;)

3. What ratio of new recipes cooked in your home come from the Internet vs from a cookbook you own? 1/2-ish. It varies. If it's just after the new Real Simple comes out, it's way lower. Toward the end of that time frame, it's way higher.

4. Does your family regard a recipe as something printed from the computer, on a handwritten card or something on the kitchen netbook? My husband doesn't care where it comes from as long as it tastes good. He turns to the Internet when searching for recipes himself.

5. Do you have a television or other electronic entertainment in the kitchen? No, though we talked about getting an under-cabinet radio. Not even a CD player. A radio. We kick it old school.

6. What is the eating in front of the computer rule in your house? Right now, as they're so young, it's a no.

7. How many places can you order dinner online from in your area? Two. Dominoes' and Pizza Hut, neither of which I prefer. (I like local pizza.)

8. What is the BEST recipe you have ever made from the Internet? Honey-Lime Tilapia, found via AllRecipes.com. That was a HUGE hit.

9. What’s the least used kitchen gadget in your home? The fondue pot. It's never been opened.

10. What is the oddest recipe your family has tried after seeing it on the Internet? I can't think of an Internet example because the words odd and recipe always make me think of my mom's (failed) spaghetti pancakes. Yeah, don't ask.

I'll play.

Which expensive electronic device do you or your children most admire? The space shuttle.

2. Do you ever use your computer in the kitchen? The computer is right next to the kitchen, but not in it. I'm afraid it would get set on fire.

3. What ratio of new recipes cooked in your home come from the Internet vs from a cookbook you own? We use Internet cookbooks about half and half.

4. Does your family regard a recipe as something printed from the computer, on a handwritten card or something on the kitchen netbook? Cookbooks are for planning, and the Internet is for desperation.

5. Do you have a television or other electronic entertainment in the kitchen? No, but we do most of our dancing in the kitchen.

6. What is the eating in front of the computer rule in your house? I work from home, so I eat breakfast and lunch in front of the computer. My husband would kill me if I ate dinner in front of it.

7. How many places can you order dinner online from in your area? I know you can from Pizza Hut, but ew.

8. What is the BEST recipe you have ever made from the Internet? You'd have to ask my husband -- he does most of the cooking.

9. What’s the least used kitchen gadget in your home? Potato ricer

10. What is the oddest recipe your family has tried after seeing it on the Internet? Baked Alaska
